Nowhere else in the world are ecological Cranberries harvested other than on Terschelling island, the Netherlands. Terschelling cranberries are grown as wild fruit only, therefore cultural-technical measures such as fertilising are not allowed. This gives the berries a great natural taste. When they are ready, the wild cranberries are harvested by hand. The harvest takes place during September and October.
